Trying to decide if the career path you chose when young and hadn’t got a clue is the right one, is one of the trickiest things to do. Not just you have already invested all that time and effort. Sometimes your parents time and effort. Sometimes you can even blame your siblings for your success. That is lucky me.
Then, the farming comes back into your life and drags you back into all “that” that your parents dragged you away from, for your own good, for an easy life, holidays, holidays paid. I think the love that the farm lifestyle gives you back is a thousand times more gratifying than all the money you can get in another kind of job, with standard kind of salary.
So for the effort of my family, my own, and to not to have wasted my life and knowledge, I am going to keep both. I am going to work for money and work for love. And that way, I can actually say I can feel the right balance.
