I am looking at these two boys. Little boys a year ago, big boys today. They have grown really well. These are inseparable friends Helium and Trelawney. They are alpacas. They behave like alpacas. They are boys, that’s the thing. A decision needs to be made. Pet or stud. There’s no middle place. Very difficult decision to make when your breeding numbers are low. Once the vet has been, it is not reversible. Many parameters to consider, and really, I do not want to make this decision.
So I am closing the year looking at them in a different way. I have to become objective. But they’re both so cute…! I will have to choose what to do with each. Hopefully, I will choose wisely.
