Peggy Nenette

We had a little king in April, Charles, the special first one of this year. Now, we also have the most awaited one on the ground. Her name is Peggy Nenette. This baby means a lot for her dam and our breeding lines.

Peggy Nenette is the first daughter of Ivory Lace. Ivory has tried to be a mum in the past, but she wasn’t lucky. It would have been a shame to have a quality female, like Ivory, not breeding.

Dam: Ivory Lace. Granddaughter of Valley Alpacas the Diplomat, Ivory presents one of the best quality fleeces in Kestle. She carries in her genetics all shades from mid-brown to white. We could expect to produce any colour out of her. Her fawn fleece shows a lovely, slight pink tone I always talk about. Ivory makes a beautiful soft yarn. She also makes a beautiful mother.

Ivory has taught Peggy a confident attitude amongst the other mamas, beautifully balanced with a gentle nature.

Nenette is posing like a model for all my pictures.

Peggy is too young to judge her fleece. It seems very acceptable so far, solid white and nice strong crimp. She is also very healthy and strong and so far hasn’t needed any support to thrive.

Sire: Sapphire Bernie. Bernie caught my interest on the skirting table. The organisation of the locks and the brightness were quite a thing. Also, against all pet trends, I have always favoured white fibre. After his fleece, I met the animal. A very well grown white male with a strong presence and a superb conformation. Peggy Nenette’s appearance seems to have been taken from her sire.

This cria is a satisfaction. She has been long awaited, my little white, strong and gentle Peggy Nenette.
