Stardust

Last year, pregnancies seemed to last longer than ever. Most of them carried on for over twelve months. This year, that is not the case.

Charles came up at 48 weeks. White. Peggy Nenette was born at 51 weeks. White again. Well, let me introduce you to a little gem that we had on a shorter pregnancy, 46 weeks. Stardust was born with the beauty and fineness we have been longing for, on an unexpected bright coat of pure white silk. Yes, we received a blank canvas from a mum that has given us joy and colour in every birth so far.

Stardust’s dam is Snowshill Diamond Girl. A multi with the calmest temper, beautifully coloured blanket with white markings on head and legs. She collected a few first and second prices in regional and national shows from 2018 to 2021.

Stardust’s sire is Popham Archer, another multi-awarded alpaca at both national and regional levels, displaying still a very fine fleece at four years old.

We really are full of joy with this little one. I do not know where her colour comes from, she definitely gets the temperament from her mum.
