Wait

After letting go of some of my girls earlier in the year, I’m expecting only two crias. The weather has been perfect for it, but the mums have decided that full term is better. So we’re approaching the 348 and 343 days of gestation, and with a turn of the weather -yes, that was the sun, and it’s gone-, we could still be waiting a couple of weeks.

It does not help my patience knowing that the sires are two very fine males: CME Dion that caught my eye when it arrived to its pen in the Cornwall show some time ago now; and Artwork Macchiato which genetics and progeny I’ve been following for a while and suddenly happened to move to a reasonable distance. I’m so excited to see what they produce mixed with my girls!

I can’t wait to share when the crías arrive.
