During the last few months, we’ve been looking at the sky, wondering where the summer was. It eventually gave us a few days of sunshine.
September has brought more rain, making the shorter days more noticeable. The crias don’t seem to mind the rain, though. They are playing constantly, running, chasing, and investigating around, as they do. The mums get a break and watch from the distance while eating and humming.
I don’t find any of them them lying or sitting, as the ground is wet. However, they’re not interested in the shelter either. So they’re getting wet. I suppose it’s still not cold enough. So we’re keeping an eye on those blankets for any sign of fly strike. Here are some pictures of the coats of the crías.
