With the good weather, anyone would expect to pick up more eggs. But not the owner of marsh daisies, as they just have a tendency to go broody as soon as they start laying. Picking eggs now starts with lifting the hen to see if the others have laid yet. She only gets out for corn as she’s also not stupid.

The alpacas are not doing much, just eating and sunbathing with long naps in between.
And the little birds keep on messing with the tiles in the roof making nests. We had to come up with a solution to cover the gap where they nest and bring the chicks out with the nest somehow. Credit to the two hard working men that came up with the idea to save roof and chicks. Check out the contribution of the alpaca fibre. Very clever!
