We could barely find the boys in their field. They have plenty of pasture. Maybe more than they can handle. We just need to cut the grass to keep it evenly managed and reduce pests and parasites.

This field keeps a clean paddock ideal to grow clean fleeces. After shearing, Raspberry’s fleece uncovered a beautiful frame. White throughout and with a curious but elusive temperament, Raspberry present some qualities from his sire that we wanted to introduce in our herd. For this reason, Raspberry is in the books as a potential stud as we watch his development.
In the meantime, in the ladies’ paddock, nothing much happens. Grace is holding on to that baby and is coming close to the year -today she is 362 days pregnant. Shearing Netherite proved that she is definitively grey and not pregnant, and she showed readiness for breeding last weekend, so she is meeting some studs soon, together with Blinding Lights, Harley Queen and Stardust. We have a variety of coloured females and have chosen also a variety of coloured males to breed with.
